The City of Carrolton launched a mural project curated by Lesli Marshall which invited the Phoenix-based artist known as CLYDE to paint a vibrant 111-foot mural on the historic Downtown Carrollton grain silos (1003 4th Avenue). The mural features a Texas sunset, native wildflowers—including 15-foot bluebonnet petals—and themes honoring the city’s railroad roots and modern transit.

The second mural was awarded to artist Sean Starr who is known for his career in sign painting, gilding on glass, hot rod customization, and his preservation of historical arts.
