In summer of 2025, we were approached by Ashun Sound Machines, a southern California synthesizer company, to make a creative video for their upcoming product DIOSYNTH. They liked what we did with Daydreamin' with Ray Barbee to promote their Hydrasynth Explorer, so they wanted a similar vibe with epic drone shots and hand drawn illustrations over the footage.

 

DIOSYNTH was a relatively niche product which infused digital effects into a wind instrument. The company enlisted artist Joe Berry of the electronic band M83 to create a tune on the instrument, and we filmed in the Mojave desert to give the vibe the company wanted, which paired perfectly with Joe's epic wardrobe.
