The ruins of modernity are vastly different from the ruins of ancient civilizations.  Globally, we have pursued design that is ephemeral rather than eternal.  As this paradigm shifts we begin to see a new kind of architecture, art and design emerge with conceptually oriented goals that supersede traditional standards of craft and detail.
