The few, the proud, the honor of being... a hot dogger.  With only 12 selected annually to drive across the United States it is an intense selection process that hundreds apply for in hopes of being chosen.  We met Joe Zerka back in 2014 while he was visiting a soup kitchen in Dallas and became friends fast.  By the end of the year, we met back up in Chicago to bid "Wein" farewell.  

 

A staple of american culture for decades, the recognizable Wienermobile brings joy to EVERYONE that sees it.  We saw grown adults get out of their cars at stop lights to take photos, children wave on the freeway, news reporters pause their interviews to wave at the car, and even the homeless would crack a huge smile as we passed by.  It was truly a magical experience that we will never forget.
